Sedgwick County, Colorado
Sedgwick County is way out in the northeast corner of Colorado. Julesburg is the county seat. It’s right on the Nebraska border.
This is farming and ranching country and it’s flat like a pool table. The South Platte River runs through it so there’s some good bird watching.
The county has an interesting history with the Pony Express. It’s not a hot tourist spot. But if you like small-town life and wide open spaces, Sedgwick County has its charms.
