Summit County, Colorado
Summit County is in the heart of the Colorado Rockies. It’s all about skiing and snowboarding. This is why the county gets crazy busy during ski season.
Breckenridge, Keystone, and Copper Mountain are all here. Summers are awesome too, with hiking, biking, and boating on Dillon Reservoir. Frisco and Silverthorne are a bit less touristy.
It’s pretty expensive to live here. But I guess that’s the price you pay for incredible views year round. There’s also a decent food scene, especially in Breck. If you love mountain sports and don’t mind crowds, Summit County is a playground.
