US Counties

Lyon County is out in western Kentucky. The county is famous for being home to part of Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area.

Madison County is in central Kentucky and is home to a bunch of history. Richmond is home to Eastern Kentucky University.

Magoffin County is tucked away in eastern Kentucky, where the mountains don’t mess around. Salyersville is small but also the county seat.

Marion County is in the middle of Kentucky. Lebanon is the county seat here and claims to be the “Heart of Kentucky”.

Marshall County is out in western Kentucky, with more lakes than you can shake a fishing rod at. The county’s big draw is Kentucky Lake.

Right on the West Virginia border, you can find Martin County. It’s located way out in eastern Kentucky with Inez as the county seat.

Mason County is up in northern Kentucky, right on the Ohio River. The Simon Kenton Memorial Bridge found here links Kentucky to Ohio.

McCracken County is way out in western Kentucky, right where the Ohio and Tennessee rivers meet. It sits nicely along the Illinois border.

McCreary County is tucked away in southern Kentucky, right on the Tennessee border. Daniel Boone National Forest covers this county.

McLean County is in western Kentucky, where the Green River rolls by. The county’s rural setting means plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors.

Meade County is in north-central Kentucky, hugging the Ohio River to the north. Brandenburg is the county seat.

In the foothills of eastern Kentucky, Menifee County is a small and quiet place. Nature truly takes center stage with Red River Gorge.

Mercer County is in central Kentucky, where the Kentucky River cuts through the hills. Harrodsburg claims to be the oldest town in the state.

Metcalfe County is down in south-central Kentucky, where the hills start to flatten out. Edmonton is the county seat in Metcalfe.

Monroe County is down on the Tennessee border, where the hills roll like waves. Tompkinsville is the county seat in the center.
