Mercer County is in central Kentucky, where the Kentucky River cuts through the hills. The county is easily accessible via U.S. Route 127 and 68.
Harrodsburg is the county seat and it claims to be the oldest town in the state. People here are pretty proud of that.
The county’s got some fancy horse farms if you’re into four-legged millionaires. It also has rolling farmland and horse farms, which add to its beauty as a part of the Bluegrass region.
