Metcalfe County is down in south-central Kentucky, where the hills start to flatten out. Edmonton is the county seat and it’s about as small-town as it gets.
The county’s big on farming. You’ll see lots of corn and cattle. The county is crossed by U.S. Route 68 and the Cumberland Parkway.
Metcalfe County is also home to several beautiful natural areas. For example, it has the Marrowbone State Forest and Wildlife Management Area. Here, you can hike, hunt, and enjoy the quiet of the countryside.
