Bibb County, Alabama

Bibb County is smack in the middle of Alabama. Centreville is the county seat. Small place, big heart. The Cahaba River, Alabama’s longest free-flowing river, runs through it.
Bibb was named after William Bibb, Alabama’s first governor. Around 23,000 people live here. It’s mostly rural, with forests and farms. The old Brierfield Ironworks are now a state park.
Bibb County is perfect if you like the quiet life. No big cities here. Just good people and open spaces. Oh, and watch out for the occasional black bear.
