Boyle County sits in central Kentucky, about an hour south of Lexington. It’s named after John Boyle, a Kentucky chief justice.
Around 30,000 folks call it home, with Danville as the county seat. Centre College is here, a private liberal arts college in Danville. It’s easy to get here via U.S. Route 127.
The county played a big role in the Civil War so check out Perryville Battlefield State Historic Site. Constitution Square in Danville is where Kentucky’s first constitution was drafted.
