Adair County sits in south-central Kentucky, not far from the Tennessee border. It’s home to about 19,000 people, with Columbia serving as the county seat.
The county was named after John Adair, Kentucky’s eighth governor. Green River Lake State Park is a big draw here. It has fishing, boating, and camping.
