Bell County sits in the southeast corner of Kentucky, right where it meets Tennessee and Virginia. Pineville as the county seat. This place is filled with state parks and WMAs.
It’s named after Joshua Fry Bell, a Kentucky politician. Cumberland Gap National Historical Park is partly in Bell County. It’s where Daniel Boone blazed his famous trail.
Coal mining used to be big here, but these days tourism is taking over. Finally, Pine Mountain State Resort Park offers some great views if you’re up for a hike. About 26,000 people call it home.
