Camp County, Texas

Camp County is in the northeastern part of the state, nestled in the Piney Woods region. It’s one of the smaller counties in Texas. Pittsburg, the county seat, was once a major railway hub. These days, it’s better known for its sweet potatoes and peaches.
Camp County has lakes, forests, and rolling hills. It’s perfect for fishing, hiking, or just taking a Sunday drive. The whole county is only about 200 square miles. But don’t let the size fool you because there’s plenty to do.
Small town vibes are strong here. Everybody knows everybody. Country living at its finest, really. From the Northeast Texas Rural Heritage Museum to Witness Park, Camp County always has something going on.
