Columbia County, Pennsylvania

Columbia County is in eastern Pennsylvania, not far from Williamsport. The Susquehanna River cuts through the county, creating some sweet riverside views.
Bloomsburg, the only incorporated town in PA, hosts a massive fair every fall. They’ve hosted this fair since 1855, and it still happens today. The area has some solid breweries if you’re into craft beer.
It also has Knoebels, which is an awesome free-admission amusement park right on the edge of the county. Outdoorsy types dig the state game lands for hunting and hiking. If you’re into covered bridges, this is your kind of place.
