Cameron County is one of Pennsylvania’s smallest by population. It’s in the north-central part of the state. Forests cover most of its land. The county’s nicknamed “The Little Power House” for its natural resources.
Sinnemahoning State Park is surrounded by Elk State Forest in a mountainous area. Elk roam freely here. It’s a paradise for hunters and anglers. The Allegheny Plateau provides stunning views.
Emporium, the only borough, serves as the county seat. Visitors love the area’s old lumber camps and come here year-round. Despite its low population, Cameron County still has quite a few ammenities.
