Conway County sits in the heart of Arkansas, straddling the Arkansas River. The Arkansas River Valley gives the county a mix of flat bottomlands and rolling hills.
Morrilton, the county seat, is home to Petit Jean State Park. The park has great views, hiking, and the 95-foot Cedar Falls. Winrock International, founded by former Arkansas governor Winthrop Rockefeller, has its headquarters on Petit Jean Mountain.
Toad Suck Park is located near Conway, along the banks of the Arkansas River. It hosts the annual Toad Suck Daze festival. Don’t ask about the name. Just enjoy the fun.
