Clark County is in southwest Arkansas. It’s where the Ouachita Mountains meet the Gulf Coastal Plain. With a population of about 22,000, it’s a place where community spirit runs high
Education is highly valued here. Arkadelphia, the county seat, is home to two universities: Henderson State and Ouachita Baptist.
The Ouachita River forms the county’s eastern border and DeGray Lake Resort State Park is a major draw for outdoor people. It’s Arkansas’s only resort state park, complete with a golf course and marina.
