Cross County is located in northeastern Arkansas. Wynne, the county seat, is known as the “City with a Smile”. It’s home to around 16,000 residents county-wide.
It’s a place where agriculture reigns supreme. The area is a major producer of rice, soybeans, and corn. It has vast fields of agriculture stretching out in all directions. U.S. Highway 64 runs through the county.
Village Creek State Park is a local favorite with trails, lakes, and even a bit of history with its Civil War sites. Cross County also hosts the annual Farm Fest in Wynne. This festival celebrates the area’s agricultural heritage with food, music, and fun.
