Greene County, Pennsylvania

Greene County occupies the southwest corner of Pennsylvania, with West Virginia on two sides. Waynesburg is the county seat and is home to its small university.
The Monongahela River forms the eastern border, popular for boating and fishing. You’ll find more sheep than people in some parts. That’s because it’s a major wool producer.
There’s a surprising amount of history packed in here, from old covered bridges to former Underground Railroad sites. The rolling hills also make for some nice scenic drives.
