Henry County is in the west of Missouri. Harry S. Truman Dam and Reservoir occupies a large portion of the southeast. Bass fishing is popular at Truman Lake.
Clinton is the county seat. It has a downtown that’s seen better days but is making a comeback. Folks here are proud of their agricultural roots.
There’s also Montrose Conservation Area. The county’s got a mix of prairie and forest, making for some pretty drives. The Katy Trail is also nearby if you’re into biking.
