Hot Spring County is in central Arkansas. This is not to be confused with Hot Springs in Garland County. One notable place is Magnet Cove. This small community is famous among geologists for its unique mineral deposits.
The county is home to Lake Catherine State Park with lots of camping, hiking, and water activities. The Ouachita River flows through the county, also for fishing and floating.
Malvern is the county seat in Hot Spring County. It’s known as the “Brick Capital of the World” due to its clay deposits and brick industry. The annual Brickfest in Malvern celebrates the county’s brick-making heritage.
