Lancaster County, Nebraska

Lincoln, the state capital, dominates Lancaster County. It’s in the middle of southeast Nebraska and is home to the University of Nebraska’s main campus.
It’s seen big change from the rural counties around it. Still, you don’t have to drive far to hit farmland. The county’s a mix of urban and rural. Best of both worlds, some might say.
The historic Haymarket area in Lincoln is worth checking out. Old warehouses turned into shops and restaurants. There’s always something going on. Spring and fall are beautiful. Football is religion here. On game days, the whole city turns red. Go Huskers!
