Otoe County, Nebraska

Otoe County sits in the southeast corner of Nebraska, right next to Iowa. Nebraska City, the county seat, is right on the Missouri River. It’s known for its apple orchards.
Arbor Day started here, believe it or not. The county’s a mix of farmland and small towns with corn and soybeans as the big crops. But there’s some cattle too.
The landscape is pretty diverse. You’ve got river bluffs, rolling hills, and flat prairies. Folks here are proud of their history. The county has been around since before Nebraska was a state. The fall colors along the Missouri are absolutely spectacular here.
