Seward County, Nebraska

Southeast Nebraska is home to Seward County. The county seat? Seward, of course. They call it “Nebraska’s Fourth of July City”. Their Independence Day celebration is something else. It brings in folks from all over.
Concordia University is here, which keeps things lively. The county is mostly farmland. But there’s some industry too so it keeps the economy diverse.
The Big Blue River runs through here, including through Seward. This creates some nice scenery in the county seat. Folks are proud of their history. The old courthouse is still standing, which was built in 1905.
