Saline County sits in the southeast part of Nebraska. Wilber, the county seat, is known as the “Czech Capital of the USA.” No kidding. They’ve got a huge Czech festival every year and it draws folks from all over.

The county’s mostly farmland with some industry. This keeps the economy diverse. The Big Blue River runs through here, creating some nice scenery.

Folks here are proud of their heritage. You’ll see Czech flags flying next to American ones. It’s definitely a friendly place in Nebraska. Saline also has hiking trails around Blue River, adding a touch of outdoor adventure.
