Little River County is tucked away in the southwest corner of Arkansas. It borders Texas to the south and Oklahoma to the west.
Ashdown is the county seat and is named after the Little River. This river joins the Red River at the county’s southern border.
Millwood Lake, a 29,000-acre reservoir, is in the northeast. It’s known for its largemouth bass. Anglers from all over come here to test their luck, hoping to reel in a trophy-sized catch.
