Orange County, Texas

Orange County is in the southeast corner of Texas, right on the Louisiana border. Hurricanes have shaped this place. Rita and Ike hit hard. But the folks here rebuilt.
The county has a mix of industry and nature. Swamps and bayous are all over the land. Fishing is big here. So is birding.
It’s hot and humid most of the year. People here love their high school football. Especially on Friday nights in fall, the stands are packed.
