Sauk County is where the Driftless Area meets the Central Plains in south-central Wisconsin. The Baraboo Hills give the area some serious natural beauty. Devil’s Lake State Park is a major draw, with its unique rock formations and clear waters.

Wisconsin Dells, the “Waterpark Capital of the World”, is partly in Sauk County. You’ll find a mix of tourism-driven areas and quiet rural spots. The county has some quirky attractions, like Dr. Evermor’s Forevertron sculpture park.

Circus World in Baraboo celebrates the area’s connection to the Ringling Brothers. The Ice Age Trail winds through parts of the county. Sauk County has a strong agricultural base, with plenty of family farms. It’s where you can go from busy tourist spots to quiet country roads in just a few minutes.
