Scott County, Kentucky

Scott County is in north-central Kentucky, just a hop and a skip from Lexington. It’s in the heart of Kentucky’s Bluegrass region, known for its horse farms and a growing suburban areas.
Georgetown, the county seat, is home to a little car company called Toyota – maybe you’ve heard of it? It’s the largest manufacturing plant in the world. There’s also cool old-timey village called Ward Hall if you want to see how the rich folks lived back in the day.
The county’s got some fancy horse farms if you’re into four-legged millionaires. And don’t miss the Festival of the Horse in September. For this party, it’s not BYOH (Bring Your Own Horse). They’ve got plenty already.
