York County, Nebraska

East-central Nebraska is where York County calls home. York is the county seat and also the biggest town. Yep, it’s the same name as the county. It’s right on Interstate 80, which makes it a popular stop for travelers.
The county’s mostly farmland with some industry too. This keeps the rural economy diverse. York College brings in some young folks.
One advantage is that it’s close enough to Lincoln for day trips. But far enough out to keep that small-town feel. You can feel the pride people have in their community. It’s in the well-kept homes and the thriving businesses.
