Sioux County, Nebraska

Sioux County is about as far northwest as you can get in Nebraska. It’s right up against Wyoming and South Dakota. Harrison is the county seat. It’s a tiny place with less than 300 people.
The whole county’s only got about 1,200 folks. It’s one of the least populous in the state of Nebraska. Ranching is the main economy here.
There’s lots of open space. The landscape’s a mix of high plains and badlands. It’s rugged. Beautiful, if you like that sort of thing. Agate Fossil Beds National Monument is here. It’s pretty cool if you’re into prehistory.
