Cheyenne County sits way out in the Nebraska Panhandle, right up against the Colorado and Wyoming borders. Sidney is the county seat.
Clay County is in the south-central part of Nebraska, with Clay Center as the county seat. It’s named after Henry Clay, the famous statesman.
Colfax County sits in the eastern part of Nebraska, not too far from Omaha. It’s named after Schuyler Colfax, who was a vice president.
