Clinton County, Missouri

Clinton County is up in northwest Missouri. It isn’t fancy, but it’s home to about 21,000 residents.. The county seat is Plattsburg and is a friendly spot.
Clinton County was founded way back in 1833. Farmers here work the land, growing crops and raising livestock. It’s quiet most days, but things liven up during the county fair each summer.
Kids splash in Smithville Lake on hot afternoons. The fall colors are something else, especially along the banks of Shoal Creek.
