Cooper County, Missouri

Cooper Location Map Missouri

Boonville is the biggest town in Cooper County, but it’s still pretty small. You’ll find this county right in the middle of Missouri, along the Missouri River.

Agriculture is a main driver of the economy here. The Katy Trail runs through here, bringing cyclists and hikers to town. The annual Boonville Heritage Days festival is a big deal. Everyone turns out for the parade and BBQ.

Cooper County was settled way back in the early 1800s. You can still see bits of that history in the old buildings around the courthouse square.
