Jefferson County is in southeastern Arkansas. It’s home to Pine Bluff, the county seat and a city with a rich industrial and cultural history. Pine Bluff is known for its arts and culture scene.

With a population of around 70,000, it’s one of the larger counties in the region. U.S. Highway 65 and Interstate 530 both run through the county. The Arkansas River runs through the county with recreational opportunities. 

You’ll also find attractions like the Arkansas Railroad Museum and the Delta Rivers Nature Center here. The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff adds campus life to the area.
