Lincoln County, Missouri

Lincoln County is on the eastern edge of Missouri, bordering Illinois. It’s part of the St. Louis metro area, but you wouldn’t know it from looking around.
This place is growing fast. It’s one of the quickest in the state, actually. Troy is the biggest town and county seat, but it’s no bustling metropolis.
The Mississippi and Cuivre rivers form natural borders, giving the county some pretty scenic spots. It’s named after Abe Lincoln, no surprise here. And if you’re into the outdoors, Cuivre River State Park is worth a visit.
