Livingston County, Missouri

Livingston County is in the middle of northern Missouri. It’s a rural area known for its wide-open farmland and small, close-knit communities.
It’s home to Chillicothe, known as the “Home of Sliced Bread.” Yep, you read that right. The first mechanically sliced commercial bread was sold here in 1928.
The Grand River cuts through the county with great spots for kayaking and canoeing. Farmers here work hard, growing everything from corn to cattle. People here value their history but aren’t afraid of progress.
