Little House on the Prairie fans might know it. The real Laura Ingalls Wilder lived here for a bit. Elk City Lake is good for fishing.

U.S. Highway 75 and U.S. Highway 160 cross here. The population sits around 31,000, with manufacturing, agriculture, and small businesses driving the economy. It’s just a short distance to the Oklahoma border.
