Morrill County, Nebraska

Morrill County sits in the Nebraska Panhandle. It’s out there. Way out there. Bridgeport’s the county seat. Small town, but it’s got character.
The North Platte River cuts through the county so it has some nice scenery. Chimney Rock is just next door. You can see it from parts of the county and it’s pretty cool.
Farming and ranching are the main gigs here. Sugar beets are a big crop, which is kinda unusual for Nebraska. Unfortunately, the population’s been shrinking for years. Young people tend to leave. But those who stay? They love it here. It’s home.
