Perry County, Pennsylvania

Central Pennsylvania is home to Perry County, just northwest of Harrisburg. This place is all about natural beauty. The Tuscarora State Forest covers a big chunk of the county. Little Buffalo State Park is another local favorite.
The entire county is perfect for camping, hiking, and just getting away from it all. The old covered bridges scattered around the county are pretty Instagram-worthy.
Perry County has deep agricultural roots. You’ll see plenty of farms as you drive through. The Appalachian Trail runs along the county’s eastern edge. That brings in hikers from all over. Newport, the county seat, has a cute little downtown with some interesting shops too.
