Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania

Susquehanna County is up in the northeast corner of Pennsylvania. It’s right on the New York border. This place is old because people settled here way back in the late 1700s.
The Endless Mountains give the county its signature look. Salt Springs State Park is also great for hikers. You won’t find any big cities here. Just small towns and lots of farmland.
In recent years, natural gas drilling has become a key for the economy. Dairy farming’s still important. Montrose, the county seat, hosts a killer blueberry festival every summer. It’s a piece of rural Pennsylvania life.
