Marengo County stretches across west-central Alabama with Linden as its county seat. It’s spread across rolling fields and historic towns.

Up in northwest Alabama, Marion County is where small towns and rural landscapes come together. The county’s population is 30,000 people.

Marshall County sits in northeast Alabama, with Guntersville as the county seat. The county is spread across small towns and rural areas.

Mobile County anchors southwest Alabama. The port city of Mobile is at its heart with nearly 420,000 residents. The county is very unique.

Monroe County lies in southwest Alabama. The county seat is Monroeville, which has some history in “To Kill a Mockingbird”.

Morgan County is located in the northern section of Alabama. Decatur is its largest city with about 125,000 residents in the county.

Perry County lies in west-central Alabama. The population here is small, around 9,000 residents. U.S. Highway 80 runs through the county.

Pickens County hugs the Mississippi border in west Alabama. Carrollton is its county seat with about 20,000 people.

Pike County sits in southeast Alabama, home to Troy University. Troy is the county’s largest city with about 33,000 residents.

Randolph County nestles in east Alabama, bordering Georgia. Wedowee is its county seat with about 22,000 residents.

On the eastern edge of Alabama, Russell County lies along the Chattahoochee River. Columbus, Georgia is just across the water.

Shelby County stretches southeast from Birmingham. Columbiana is its seat with a county population over 225,000 residents.

Just northeast of Birmingham, St. Clair County is a rapidly growing area. The county has two seats, Ashville and Pell City.

Sumter County is named after General Thomas Sumter. He was a hero of the American Revolutionary War from South Carolina.
