Drew County is in the southeastern part of Arkansas. The population of the county is around 17,000, and timber and farming are still big industries here.
It’s centered around Monticello, a town that’s home to the University of Arkansas at Monticello. The university gives a nice complement to the county’s agricultural roots.
If you enjoy the outdoors, the Seven Devils Wildlife Management Area is a great spot for hunting and birdwatching. U.S. Highway 425 runs through Monticello for quick access.
