Henry County, Kentucky

Henry County is in north-central Kentucky, not too far from Louisville. New Castle is the county seat. Its historic district is home to several well-preserved buildings, including the old courthouse.
The county’s known for its Amish community. Just don’t try to race the Amish buggies in your car – that’s frowned upon (and they might win anyway).
With a population of around 16,000, the county is a peaceful rural retreat. U.S. Route 421 runs through it, making it an easy drive from Louisville or Frankfort. So does Interstate 71.
