Carroll County, Kentucky

Carroll County is set along the Ohio River in northern Kentucky, with Carrollton as its county seat. The Ohio River has great views, especially at Point Park.
The county is a natural crossroads, thanks to the intersection of I-71 and U.S. Route 42. This also makes it a convenient stop between Louisville and Cincinnati.
With a population of about 10,000, it’s a place where the river plays a central role in daily life. Just don’t go looking for any actual carrolls because it’s just a name, not a thing.
