Llano County, Texas

Granite is the name of the game in Llano County. This chunk of the Texas Hill Country is famous for its massive pink granite dome. You can’t miss Enchanted Rock because it rises 425 feet above the surrounding landscape. Rock climbers love it here.
The county seat is Llano, sitting right on the Llano River. It’s a great spot for bass fishing. They even call themselves the “Deer Capital of Texas.” So if you’re into hunting, you’re in luck.
The bluebonnets in spring are spectacular. And don’t miss the Llano Earth Art Fest (LEAF). Artists create amazing sculptures using nothing but rocks and river stones.
