Ottawa County, Kansas

Ottawa County is in north-central Kansas, with Minneapolis as the county seat (not to be confused with the one in Minnesota).
The county has some interesting rock formations called the Mushroom Rocks… because who wouldn’t want to find giant fungi in the middle of Kansas?
There’s good fishing and hunting in the area. But farming is still big here, mostly wheat and cattle. The Solomon River adds some nice scenery. With a population of just over 5,700, it’s a place where everyone waves hello.
