Ouray County, Colorado
Ouray County is in the San Juan Mountains of southwest Colorado. The place is all about outdoor recreation and hot springs.
Ouray, the county seat, is called the “Switzerland of America”. This is because it’s surrounded by these incredible mountains.
There’s world-class ice climbing in winter. The hot springs in town are amazing after a day of hiking. Ridgway is the other main town. It’s a bit more laid back. The Million Dollar Highway runs through here, which I think is scary but beautiful.
