Pottawatomie County, Kansas

Pottawatomie County is in northeast Kansas, with Westmoreland as the county seat. It has a mix of rolling hills and farmland.
The county’s close enough to Manhattan (the Little Apple, not the Big one) for some folks to commute to Kansas State University. Just to be clear, that’s in the southwest of the county.
Wamego, one of the bigger towns, has a popular Oz Museum. U.S. Highway 24 cuts through the county and is the main highway here. Tuttle Creek Lake is nearby, which is great for fishing and boating.
