Wabaunsee County is in eastern Kansas, with Alma as the county seat. The county seat, Alma, is known as the “City of Native Stone” because of its beautiful limestone buildings.
If you come here, you’ll notice that it has some of the prettiest Flint Hills scenery you’ll find in the state. The landscape is all rolling hills and tallgrass prairie.
There’s a lot of cattle ranching here, and you’ll see some cowboys who aren’t just for show. The county has this cool little spot called Mill Creek Lodge that’s popular for weddings.
