Washington County, Kansas

Washington County is up in north-central Kansas, with the town of Washington as its seat. It’s mostly farmland with some gentle hills.
The county has a bunch of nice fishing spots, like Mill Creek. There’s this cool place called the Hollenberg Pony Express Station. It’s a real piece of Old West history.
Farming is still king here. U.S. Highway 36 cuts through. The population has been shrinking with around 5,500 residents. It’s a peaceful spot where agriculture is still at the heart of everything.
