Crawford County stretches along the Oklahoma border in western Arkansas. Van Buren is the county seat, and has a historic district on the Arkansas River.
The city of Van Buren is known for its “Great Arkansas Cleanup”. It’s an annual environmental event that’s become a model for the state.
