Lincoln County is out on the eastern plains of Colorado. Limon is the biggest town, but Hugo is the county seat. Interstate 70 runs through and the population is just over 5,000 people.
Lincoln County is home to the historic Limon Heritage Museum. This is one of the best ways to understand the region’s past.
Hunting is popular as there are lots of pheasant and deer. If you want peace and quiet and do not mind being far from everything, Lincoln County might be your speed.
